About Us

We are pioneers of adventure. We introduced the world to coasteering, launched the world freestyle kayaking championships, and are at the forefront of low-impact experiences. We equip our customers with the skills, confidence and connections they need to become independent adventurers, ready to enjoy nature-friendly, health-giving exploration with family and friends. In 1986, TYF introduced coasteering to the world. Since then, we have taken more than 200,000 people coasteering on the wild coasts of St. Davids, the birthplace of coasteering. Try this unique activity that involves exploring, scrambling, jumping, climbing, swimming, and lots of fun. Whether you want to go flat out and breathless or choose a slower exploration, TYF guarantee high-quality adventures at a level that's right for you.
The area has some of the cleanest coastal waters in Europe. As well as beautiful landscapes and seascapes, it has an abundance of wildlife. We're taking action to preserve our planet for future generations, and we hope our efforts inspire others to do the same. Think globally, act locally. We tackle global issues such as climate change and pollution of the oceans by taking local action.
As part of our retail business, we work with B Corp suppliers such as Patagonia, Thought, Maier Sports and Kleen Kanteen, and mission-based makers such as Sherpa that reinvest profit where it matters. Our team has sought brands that care about creating sustainable, ethical, Fairtrade, organic cotton products that provide lifetime guarantees. It's a privilege for us to be Patagonia's second-oldest UK partner and one of the leading sustainability leaders. It's a pleasure to work with fellow B-Corps and ethical suppliers such as Thought Clothing, Cotopaxi, and Sherpa today. TYF Group is located on the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales, so we know a thing or two about sustainable adventures and fantastic environments.
TYF is committed to operating in a manner that maximizes the well-being of its teams, customers, suppliers, and community. TYF staff members regularly volunteer on local community projects, either independently or as a group. TYF's education programs teach participants how to work together on saltwater and coastal adventures and grow the skills to impact their schools, communities, and lives positively. With the help of our programs in the classroom and in nature, we help young people develop unwavering confidence in their ability to change the world for the better.
