About Us

At Adventure Activities IOW we love all outdoor activities, but Coasteering is one of our favourites. Jumping over rock archways, swimming through wave filled gaps, climbing up cliffs, and diving underwater into hidden caves are some of the experiences we can offer. A sea-level traverse, rock climbing, cliff diving, and swimming into sea caves are some of the exciting aspects of this unique adventure sport. It is a way to explore the wild and beautiful West Wight coastline. The Isle of Wight offers the closest Coasteering to London and the South East.
With Coasteering at Adventure Activities IOW, you get to choose between most things except getting wet and having fun. Our adventures are operated by qualified outdoor professionals who have vast experience in coastal environments. We are the only Coasteering provider on the Isle of Wight, and the Adventure Activities Licensing Service has licensed. We are very proud of our excellent safety record.
Our base is located at Freshwater Bay, where you will meet us for your Coasteering Adventure. Our Adventure Activities IOW guides will welcome you, explain the adventure and then get you kitted up for the two hours of Coasteering. A wetsuit, buoyancy aid, and helmet will be provided, and then it's just a short walk to the beach to get started! You should wear closed-toed shoes that will get wet - trainers are ideal, swimwear under your wetsuit, a large towel for changing, and beach shorts to wear over your wetsuit.
