About Us
The most thrilling and adrenaline-filled method of exploring Combe Martin Bay is probably kayak-steering, which OSKC Watersports introduced in 2018.
We will meet at our centre before the start of the session, and you will be equipped with all the necessary equipment, including wetsuits, before the session begins. There is a detailed briefing about what to expect from your instructors, and then you will head to the beach where your kayaks will be waiting for you.
We will then give you final instructions, and you will set off on your kayaks to a private beach to explore the coastline. Then you'll be taken on a swim, a scramble, and a light climb before you're led to a cliff jumping spot. There are various heights to suit you, no matter your ability.
Your coasteering experience will conclude with a leisurely paddle back to Combe Martin beach. The only company in Combe Martin that is licensed and experienced in kayak-steering / coasteering is Combe Martin Kayak-Steering / Coasteering. In many of our coastal climbing locations, you can only access them by boat and kayak. Kayak-steering is an excellent activity for families, groups, and special occasions such as stag/hen dos, birthdays, etc.
