Nick Thorn Surf Coaching, Beach, Croyde, Braunton, North Devon, England, EX33 1LB
Nick Thorn Surf Coaching is a Putsborough based surf school offering Level 4 Master Surf Coach surf sessions for beginners, intermediate & advanced surfers.
There is no better place to try coasteering than with Nick Thorn Surf Coaching, based at Putsborough beach, North Devon. Coasteering is an adventure activity that involves traversing around sea cliffs, then jumping off into the water with short sea swims. The height of the jumps can range from as low as one foot up to 20 feet. The size of the jumps is entirely up to you based on your confidence level. For a 2-hour session, the cost is £40 per person. Wetsuits & safety equipment are included, but you must bring your shorts & footwear.
The Coasteering sessions we offer are different from the sea level traversing that often involves ropes with harnesses, and the entire purpose of traversing is to stay dry. A coasteering adventure is about getting wet, jumping and scrambling around rocks and getting wet. While having fun and testing both your skill and endurance, you learn about the beautiful North Devon coastline. During the trip, you'll also get to discover parts of the coast that are otherwise inaccessible.
Coasteering is ideally an activity that people can enjoy as a group, on a smaller scale, with friends, family or colleagues from work. If you are interested in booking larger groups, our sessions can be tailored to your specific needs; school trips, a stag weekend or hen parties. The surf school and coasteering centre is AALA Licensed, DBS checked and fully insured - Guaranteed Adventure.
