Kernow Coasteering is Cornwall's most westerly coasteering and rock climbing provider and the only Coasteering provider on the Isles of Scilly.
Coasteering is one of the most popular adventure activities in the UK, and Cornwall is an ideal location to try it. Having more than 400 miles of coastline and no point inland further than 20 miles from the coast, Cornwall is renowned for its rugged cliffs, hidden coves, and golden sand beaches. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that Cornwall has one of the best coasteering grounds in the UK. There is a wide range of locations suitable for coasteering in Cornwall, from Padstow on the north coast to Lizard Point on the south coast. In our opinion, the western tip of Cornwall, extending from St. Ives to Praa Sands, is the best of them all.
Our intimate knowledge of the west Cornwall coastline has enabled us to select the very best spots for our coasteering tours. All of our coasteering routes are located in stunning areas of natural beauty and provide you with some of the best coasteering in the world. You can swim through intriguing sea caves and arches, explore hidden gullies and discover a variety of other exciting features. Obviously, no coasteering journey would be complete without the thrill-seeking thrill of several cliff jumps, ranging from small steps to giant leaps.
Most of our coasteering adventures take place on the south coast of Cornwall, at Praa Sands, and on the north coast between St. Just and St. Ives, at Pendeen Watch. Additionally, we have several other hidden spots that you will have to join us to discover! Our locations are within easy reach of some of West Cornwall's most popular tourist attractions, such as St. Ives, Hayle, and Penzance.
Because we are located on a peninsula, We have a great deal of freedom in selecting which of our coasteering destinations is the most appropriate for you on any given day. With easy access to the A30, tourists can easily reach us from places like Newquay, Perranporth, and Porthtowan in Cornwall. If you are visiting us from further away, you might want to combine your coasteering adventure with a visit to some of the area's top tourist attractions, such as the Minack Theatre, St. Michael's Mount, or Land's End, or with a visit to some of Cornwall's best beaches, such as Gwithian, Sennen, or Porthcurno.
