About Us

Cornish Rock Tors offers an exciting and action-packed tour of a stretch of the rocky coast. The majority of our sessions take place along a stretch of Cornish coast otherwise inaccessible. We swim into rocky coves, explore exciting whitewater features, venture into caves, and of course, leap from our favourite jump spots. Port Gaverne's only licence is for activities backed by the National Trust.
Cornish Rock Tors offers a range of routes and activity levels, so coasteering with Cornish Rock Tors can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities. During our sessions, we have access to a stunning stretch of unspoilt coastline on the National Trust property at Port Gaverne. Advanced courses are also available upon request. If you have further questions, please contact us.
A warm 5mm wetsuit, thick-soled wetsuit boots, a buoyancy aid, and a helmet are provided. You'll learn all of the basics and gain experience with coasteering in a calm, supportive environment. Explore the caves, scramble across rock platforms, swim, climb above deep water and (if you wish) jump from rock ledges of varying heights for up to two hours in the water. To ensure the best experience, we want to keep group sizes small. The sessions run within the sheltered cove of Port Gaverne, which offers a variety of options and routes depending on the weather.
Cornish Rock Tors have been running adventure activities in Cornwall for the past fifteen years and is one of the South West's premiere coasteering, sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and sea swimming centres. We are your best option for accessible adventures in Cornwall with our team of experienced guides and instructors and choices of coastal and sheltered inland venues. North Cornwall's Port Gaverne, near the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac, is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides access to a range of routes and venues along a rugged and incredibly beautiful stretch of coastline. Due to our location close to Polzeath and Rock in Cornwall, it's easy to reach. In addition, our roadside office in the National Trust fish cellars at the top of the beach makes us easy to spot.
