About Us

Blue Peris Mountain Centre offers coastal exploration as you've never experienced it before. With ocean swimming, rock hopping, small cliff jumping, moving around on rock, scrambling over boulders, laughing and smiling, coasteering has it all. This activity involves moving along the ocean's edge of a rocky coastline on foot or by swimming, without boats, surfboards, or other craft. Coasteering is a thrilling activity, it offers a great challenge and is very rewarding. It allows participants to experience a unique and fragile environment while promoting teamwork and self-reliance.
Anglesey is the area of choice because of its perfect venues, easy access, and fantastic coastal features. We use a variety of sites and will customize the location according to the group, age, and weather. Our coasteering can either be a half-day or a full-day activity. A half-day trip can be combined with another activity on Anglesey, such as sit-on-top kayaking. Students of all ages can take part in a half-day course, and those in year seven and above can take part in a full day. Our coasteering runs from early Spring to late Autumn. Outside of these times, the sea can be too cold.
Participants will be outfitted with full steamer wetsuits, buoyancy aids, and helmets, with old trainers being the best option for footwear. To take memorable pictures, we provide digital waterproof cameras. The center's instructors have all been trained and assessed, and we are a member of the National Coasteering Charter Group. Blue Peris Mountain Centre provides a sign of quality and meets modern safety and guidance aspects for this activity. When we journey along the coast, it is the perfect place to spot wildlife, learn about tides, and discuss the sea environment. Further, we educate all participants about jumping safely into the water, what depth of water to jump into, and how to recognize hazards.
