Located on the beautiful Cardigan Bay in West Wales, we are a family-run outdoor activity centre. We offer real activities and exciting adventures. Adventure Beyond provides fun, adventurous activities for all ages and abilities. Whether you want an adrenaline rush, a relaxing family day out, or to reconnect with nature, we create bespoke adventures to suit your needs. We at Adventure Beyond believe it is extremely important to operate in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. As we conduct all of our activities, we strive to have as little impact on the environment as possible - we hope to preserve these beautiful areas for future generations of adventurers. If you are concerned about the environment and would like more information about where we run our activities and how we minimize our impact, please ask one of our friendly Instructors. We would be more than happy to tell you about the history of the area and how we minimize our impact.
Coasteering is one of our most popular activities, a new and growing sport which is mainly doing the things your mum told you not to do at the beach, such as climbing, scrambling and jumping from the rocks. We offer Coasteering sessions for adults and children of all abilities in West Wales. In search of a half-day activity that will get your heart pumping? Look no further. As the name implies, coasteering is a combination of swimming and climbing around the coast to gain access to inlets, caves, and coves otherwise inaccessible. To make it more thrilling, we include some jumps that are sure to make you shudder, as well as scramble across some natural features that will further increase the adrenaline levels. You may be fortunate enough to observe local wildlife, including seals, dolphins, jellyfish, and sea birds. With coasteering close to Cardigan and St Davids, you will have the option of choosing from a variety of amazing venues.
The "Family Coasteering" sessions are for children ages eight and older. This coasteering session would be best suited to family groups with young thrill-seekers. Generally, the jumps are smaller, and the swimming distance is shorter. Anyone can join in these Family Coasteering sessions - even people without children. The pace of the group might even allow you to learn more about the coastline. We have Coasteering sessions available at many locations, including the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy, the Witches' Cauldron near Moylegrove in Ceibwr Bay (Cardigan) and the more peaceful Aberporth, along with a few less-travelled routes. Do you want to test yourself? We offer adult coasteering sessions. We offer "Adult Coasteering" sessions for adrenaline junkies and thrill-seekers. These coasteering sessions involve jumping over the higher jumps and being swirled by the swell and waves. You will see parts of the coast that you wouldn't have been able to see, nor wanted to without an instructor.
Also available are Educational Coasteering sessions - our instructors are well-versed in the local area. If you want to include coasteering in a course that involves Geography, Geology, Physical Education, History or even Outdoor Education, we can do that. In these sessions, we'll get you into locations where you can study well, and we will go at the group's pace to allow time for pictures. Since the outdoors is our playground, "mother nature" provides the perfect environment for us to enjoy. Each of our instructors is qualified to conduct coasteering sessions in accordance with the conditions and the group's ability.
